About the Event
“Love Me” is an introduction to body acceptance through yoga, meditation and journaling, led by Meg, a local Yoga Teacher and Body Positive Advocate. She says:
"These free online sessions will be a safe and supportive space to explore your relationship with your body, as it is now. Society places an exceptionally high value on women's “appearance” and subsequently many women struggle with their body image. I believe that it’s possible to form a kinder, more accepting relationship with our bodies and that when we do, we have more energy for things that matter to us. When we can love ourselves unconditionally and feel comfortable in our bodies, we have the opportunity to be even more powerful than we thought possible. Through yoga, meditation and journaling we will explore different aspects of this journey - no prior yoga experience is necessary. Absolutely everyone is welcome."
Women can attend all six weekly sessions or just drop-in. Please ensure you have RSVP'd for each session you plan to join, and completed the online health and wellbeing questionnaire (you'll receive a link in your confirmation email) before attending your first session.
