United We Sew (2/6)

In this new project we aim to bring women together creatively, through online stitch and chat sessions, to create a collaborative piece of textile art  - a patchwork wall hanging with the theme of "Female Knowledge". 

Each Friday we will meet on Zoom, to chat, share and sew patches for our blanket. 

The theme for the patches is Female knowledge - here are some questions and ideas we would like to discuss and include:

• What advice would you give your younger self?
• What advice would you pass on to your daughters or granddaughters
• What advice do you want to share with women of the world?

We will also share videos of sewing tips, and in each session there will be women who are experienced sewers on hand to advise and help out!   Participants can use their own materials or we can send out materials to you.
