Are you a keen stitcher? Handy with a needle and thread? Maybe you're bursting with imagination and ideas, but missing the immediate resources to start creating the textile art you'd love to make? We invite to join our new group, United We Sew, where you'll find all the support, ideas and materials you need to get going!
Exeter Action for Women's latest project is about bringing women together creatively, through online stitch and chat sessions, to create a collaborative piece of textile art - a patchwork wall hanging with the theme of "Female Knowledge".
We will also share videos of sewing tips, and in each session there will be experienced sewers on hand to advise and help out! Participants can use their own materials or we can send out materials to you. Registration (and materials) are completely free, so why not sign up?
